ellenEllen Victor concentrates her practice in all aspects of small business and estate planning. She is qualified to serve as a court evaluator and attorney to incapacitated persons in a guardianship proceeding.

While Ellen provides estate planning to a wide variety of clients, as the parent of an adult special needs child, her passion is serving the legal needs of families with disabled children.

Education and Experience

Ellen earned her law degree from Hofstra University School of Law (cum laude). While at Hofstra, she represented abused and neglected children on behalf of the Child Advocacy Clinic. Ellen graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a B. A. where she enjoyed writing for Statesman, the university’s first student managed publication.

Prior to her law career, she taught English and worked for several major stock brokerage houses. After graduating from law school, Ellen worked for a boutique law firm, focusing on corporate and securities law.

Ellen was instrumental in bringing Special Education PTA to her neighborhood school district, and served on the Board of SEPTA for several years. She assisted in drafting a parent’s guide to special education, interpreting difficult legal language so parents could more easily understand the law in an effort to help them through what is already a very stressful process.

She is admitted to practice in New York.
