		<description>As a 30 year veteran of being employed by companies that provided or significantly subsidized insurance premiums, I&#039;m now running a start-up consulting practice. Premiums to cover reasonably healthy family alone is prohibitive - I&#039;d be very hesitant to take on employees where there was an expectation that I&#039;d provide coverage. Unless some subsidy could be built into the proposed plans, folks in my shoes will be going the route of bringing in consultants rather than employees. (Heard that Party City is hiring &#039;inert subatomic gas induction agents&#039; as comsultants to blow up helium balloons.</description>
